Hello! I Started Having A Headache On The Left Side

Hello! I started having a headache on the left side this morning. I came home, laid down for a few hours and am now having trouble focusing my eyes. I am 66, realitivity active and somewhat healthy. Medications I take are for hypothyroidism, blood pressure and meloxicam. I had blood clots a few yeasts back, but after 6 months got off xerelto. Earlier I could not get correct thoughts together to text to my niece. Should I go to the ER or wait for a visit with my primary care doc? Thank you.
