Hello: I Take One Nexium Tablet Per Day As Instructed

Hello:

I take one Nexium tablet per day as instructed by my doctor. I heard in the internet that this medicine and others like it may cause side effects like dementia. I have been taking it for years now. I also heard that their is a generic one but I do not know how good it is. Thanks
