Hello, I Understand The Most Common Response I Will Get

Hello, I understand the most common response I will get is that I need to go in to get tested. I'm just curious how serious this is. I have sharp pains in my belly. It seems as though the pain stems from deep in my belly button. I checked for any discharge or possible pimple. I have neither. The pain hurts when I flex, cough, laugh, or even yell. It's a sharp pain that shoots into my abdomen. There's no obvious bulging around my stomach and aside minor limitations I can still function throughout my day. I've never experienced anything like this before and I would really hate to tie up medical resources to assist me if this is going to pass. I've been having the pains for roughly 48 hours at this point.
