Hello, I Was Diagnosed With Crohns Disease 3 Years Ago.

Hello, I was diagnosed with Crohns disease 3 years ago. Ive been struggling with perianal abscesses that are connected through a fistula to my labia majora (both sides). I currently have 3 fistulas, 2 on the left side and are very active, the right side is mild.

My current concern now is intercourse. Im a 26 year old lesbian and in a serious committed relationship. Ive been abstaining from having an intercourse for a year now due to the drainage and embarrassment. I do cover the abscesses with gauze or post-op band aids but still, I feel extremely insecure about it and my partner understands this. I should mention that there is a discharge from my vaginal opening whenever I pass stool. Im really concerned if Ill have an intercourse with my partner, she might get an infection or something. How can I have a safe intercourse? Note that Id rather cover the abscesses.
