Hello. I Was Diagnosed With A Myeloproliferative Blood Disorder 7

Hello. I was diagnosed with a myeloproliferative blood disorder 7 years ago and my doctor/oncologist has been watching for any side affects. I do not have cancer, but now have an enlarged spleen that haa been recently causing me discomfort. Also an enlarged liver and abnormal functions of the gall bladder. No surgeon has looked at my hida scan results to determine if gall bladder surgery is necessary. My doctor has prescribed Jakafi to shrink my spleen. I’m reluctant , and would like to know if there are any other solutions to shrinking organs aside from chemo? Also if I need to remove my gall bladder should this be before starting the Jakafi prescription?
