Hello, I was diagnosed with uveitis about a month ago and at the start of the diagnosis, I had severely blurred vision in the left eye, so blurree in fact, I couldnt see anything on the inside, but when I went outside in the sunlight, I could see fine. slowly as the weeks pass, I can see more clearly and clearly inside and outside (for some reason outside "even at night" my vision was clear), but when I step inside out of the night light or sun light, my vision is blurred by regular light bulbs, etc. Any idea what's causing this? At night time when there is not much light outside, I don't have trouble focusing, at day time when there is much light outside, I don't have trouble focusing, but inside my home, I have trouble focusing. The eye that had uveitis feels watery and the watery feeling of the eye makes it feel like I need to cry, but just stays in the eye. We all know how blurred our visions get when we cry.
Btw, this uveitis started when I was on neomycin/polymyxin b/dexamethasone eye drops. I was taking the drops for an eye infection (presumed eye infection), then I was indicated to stop the drops, because the eyes are no longer infected. The very day after i stopped the drops, my eyes were throbbing with pain. I developed uveitis after stopping the drop, it last for 3-4 days (i forgot how long exactly), but about a month later, the uveitis came back, but it was more around the eye, then at the front of the eye. At first it was just iritis, which the doc dialated my eyes, gave me prednisone forte, and told me to put a drop every hour if needed.
Now the uveitis is gone mostly, just flare-ups occasionally, but short-lived. the thing is this. My vision is 20/20 in the eye with uveitis and 20/25 in my right eye. Now can anyone tell me why the eye with uveitis feels like there is more floaty things in it and like cob webbs crossing over it. I feel like my eyes can focus light fine, its just like some debri inside of the eye I cant get out. You know how you wake up in the morning and you have sleepy mucus inside your eye, it blurs your vision, right? Then all you do is wipe it away and you can see clearly again. That's how my eye is, I can't wipe out the mucus.
