Hello, I Was Prescribed Meloxicam By A Dr. For Pain

Hello, I was prescribed meloxicam by a Dr. for pain due to spinal stenosis and osteoarthritis despite the fact that I am having gastro problems from ibuprophen which I've taken for some time. I read the prescribing info and thought he was nuts. Nevertheless, I took one tablet and had worse symptoms than with the ibuprophen. What say you?
