Hello, I Was Pulling A Clothes Rack Apart Yesterday And

Hello, I was pulling a clothes rack apart yesterday and as I was pulling up, the pole jabbed really hard into the left side of throat and a bit in the middle. I iced it but it is sore now, it is burning and feeling a little dry and When I eat it kind of hurts as well. But I am sick with a cold right now so having a hard time distingiuishing between the two. Could I have possibly hurt something in my throat area?
