Hello I Went To The Quick Urgent Care 4 Days

Hello I went to the quick urgent care 4 days ago to check for strep throat. I had a fever all night the night before with a severe sore throat. I got the strep results back today they were negative. I still have a bad sore throat and white stuff is in the back of my throat since monday as well. I feel awful but no fever has returned. I have a 5 and 2 year old and didnt want to spread illness if this is strep. I dont know if I should go to my primary dr and get re-checked?
