Hello I Would Like To Ask A Question Concerning My

Hello I would like to ask a question concerning my father who refuses to go to the doctor. He was checking his blood pressure and the cuff tightened up so tight that he had a sharp pain in his arm. Since then he has pain in his shoulder and some numbness and soreness in his bicep that goes down past his elbow a little. Is this something to be concerned about or could it just be that the cuff possibly did something to a nerve?
