Hello, I'm 28 And I've Been Under Birth Control For

Hello,
I'm 28 and I've been under birth control for the past 3 years.
In the last 3 weeks I've experience abdominal pain and bloating. Also I urinate very very often, including at night.
I've been diagnosed with ultrasound a complex ovarian cyst.
I saw a gynecologist who basically said we should wait and see in about 6 weeks what happens. However the symptoms are very strong an constant and severely affect my daily life. She also mentioned it seems a lot to be attributed to the cyst and suggested to investigate more on the digestive organs. But in blood and urine tests everything looks normal, also a cat scan has only confirmed the cyst found in the ultrasound.
My primary care doctor wants now a second gynecologist opinion. It seems that there is nothing else than this.
A note: I had a period starting about a week ago (this consistently happens a few days before the placebo week of the pill) but nothing changed.
This is the extract of the imagining report:

"There is a 4.7x3.1x2.6 cyst in the right ovary which contains numerous fine lacelike reticular echlgeniticities. The cyst has concave margins and demostrates no increased color Doppler flow. There is no left adnexal mass. There is normal blood flow to the ovaries.
Complex cyst measuring 4.7x3.1x2.6 in the right ovary demonstrates characteristics most consistent with hemorrhagic cyst. Follow up in 6-12 weeks is recommended to ensure resolution. "

Any help would be greatly appreciated. I look for an opinion whether the cyst could actually explain my symptoms and what can be done about it.
