Hello I'm 38 Weeks And 4 Days Pregnant With Gestational

Hello I'm 38 weeks and 4 days pregnant with gestational diabetes and insulin mornings and evening.. for the laat two weeks my sugar kevels were controlled aroind 120 1hr post meal...however yesterday the levels were around 165 with the same diet...and this morning was back to 140..
my doc told me we can wait for 40 weeks if levels are controlled else will induce me early. Should I be worried about this increase in sugar level occasionally or just wait till natural labor pain. Pls advice.
