Hello! Im A 17 Year Old Girl, Suffering From Mild

Hello! Im a 17 year old girl, suffering from mild to mod acne. I've tried many things including ointments and antibiotics. I was sent to a dermatologist today who recommended acutane. Originally I was completely against it due to its process and side effects. She expressed that it was the right path and that I had no reason to be anxious. Nevertheless, I have a month to decide. Throughout this month I will be on a mixture of Doxycycline, and Cyproterone(Birth Control), while also using Differin cream hoping it will either help my face or prepare it for the acutane. As I received my prescription and discussed with the pharmacist what the dermatologist had said, he highly recommended that I stay away from the acutane. He was emphasizing on me being so young, and my future of family planning. I know there are many issues and negative opinions on acutane, but the derma- seemed so impressed by it and its abilities. Any further input and opinions would be appreciated. I am basically seeking a second opinion before I commit to something many people say I shouldn't. I know it will work, or have high hopes that it will, but I don't know if it's worth it.
