Hello. I'm A 22 Year Old Who Has Been Having

Hello.
I'm a 22 year old who has been having sex with my boyfriend for a little over a year now. Before, the only contraceptives used were condoms however I am on my second month of the nuvaring. My period history is irregular, and most of the time white light and originally I planned to take birth control to reguglate my periods (as whenever I was late I would freak out - but because of my irregular periods...it was always hard to judge). My boyfriend and I waited 2 weeks before the first time he finished inside me. During the end of my first month nuvaring cycle, I did not get a full period... I actually just got a day of very light spotting. Now I am on my second month... And he has finished inside me a couple of times. I'm an over thinker who is so nerous and stressed because I do not want to get pregnant. I made the earliest appointment I could to see my OBGYN however it's only in late January and I'm freaking out now. Any answers from a professional would help. Thanks.
