Hello, I'm Currently 16 Weeks Pregnant With My First Child.

Hello,

I'm currently 16 weeks pregnant with my first child. For most of my pregnancy I have been bleeding pretty heavily, but the cause has been hard to find. I've been bleeding red blood pretty heavily for 3 weeks straight and every time I go in for an ultrasound the baby is developing completely normally. The heartbeat is strong, my hcg levels are great, my placenta is in the right place and my cervix is long and closed. I've had a normal pap and all the genetic testing came back normal. The only thing that they saw that might have been the cause is a polyp on the inside of my cervix but none of it is on the outside. But even with the polyp they said that was a stretch for the cause of the bleeding because it didn't look very vascular or large. I've had a million ultrasounds and cervical exams and every time they seem stumped as to why there is so much bleeding. So I'm scared and nervous because I wake up every day terrified for my baby. Could the bleeding really all be from this polyp? Will it hurt the baby? Will it ever stop? Could it possibly be anything else you might have heard of? Thank you so much for your help.
