Hello,
In 2006 I began to notice stool would stay in my anal/rectal region, or just my rectal region when attempting to have a bowel movement. I had not had this problem, until late 2015, on a regular basis, but now it is a daily problem.
In order to get out... as much as I can I have to stimulate my anus manually by inserting my finger a bit and moving it around. That only gets out a small amount for the most part. If that. I literally take appx. 45 plus minutes daily pushing on/massaging my bowel, using a trash to adjust my legs up/position, and moving around side to side... in order to poo, and I always end up with some degree still in me. It also leaks a bit at times. My gas has become increasingly aggressive and loud. I at times have to pass it on the toilet because stool (small amount) excretes.
I had a colonoscopy in the fall of 2015, and an endoscopy. Nothing more than a "rupture" potentially of a hemorrhoid, which I have externally and internally. Also, mild acid reflux.
I think the issue is related more to the ability for my bowel itself to push through the stool. So it gets stuck. What is this kind of issue categorized as, or called?
I barely have teeth to chew my food. I know that does not help matters. Also, I have been a long time over eater since 13. I am nearing 39. I think over eating maybe contributed to my current disorder. Additionally, I bloat substantially daily regardless now of how much I over eat. I don't need to over eat anymore to be, what I consider to severely constipated.
I do not suffer from diarrhea nor have I ever except if I catch a virus. I don't believe it is I.B.S. Cancer of the bowel, as well as polyps, diverticulitis and I.B.D. or I.B.S. runs in the genes. As do hemorrhoids.
Working on seeing a specialist, but i'd like to ask what all you think this could be related to.
P.S. Everyone tells me I am "eww," but I can not help this issue. They tell me "stoma." I wonder if shortening my lower bowel would help??
Thanks,
Heather
