Hello. In 2010, I was pushed down twice. I landed on my way lower back and tailbone area. Still, my activity level is limited my pain. Medicaid is my only insurance currently. I have had two x-Rays done over four years. I was told that nothing shows up. My physicians office tried to gat an MRI approved but Medicaid said no, supposedly due to my apointments sen at the doctor not being within six weeks of the request for the MRI. Also because no previous diagnosis of cancer. I scheduled another appointment for 3 weeks before my next scheduled appointment next month in hopes that my that apointment, an ZmRZi will be approved by Medicaid. Also, I plan to tell my doctor that I do in fact want a referral to a surgeon, to please make sure it's noted in my chart since she suggested it previously and I agreed. It just wasn't put in my file/chart unless Medicaid missed it, since no referral to a surgeon was also noted as a reason of why an MRI was not approved for me before. Question 1: Can an MRI show approximate age or date of injury, in case I need to prove the facts of when my injury happened and how it happened (domestic violence), in case I'm ever challenged in court for unsupervised visitation or any type of custody of our child (to your knowledge or by your professional opinion). Our child was in the home on occasions of injury to me. The back injury, child was sleeping. On some occasions, our child was right beside me and on my lap on other occasions, when items were thrown at me. That's why I am concerned if ever challenged in court for visitation or custody. Question two: last x-spray showed "arthritic changes" in my back. Is it possible that the back injury is contributing to the arthritis in that area, since none seen anywhere else in my body and my previous primary physician of three years said that I didn't have signs of arthritis? Yes, I'm older now, my early forties and not late thirties like I was when I first told my doctor about my back injury and how it still effectects my daily life. Question 3: prior to being pushed down, I was over 5'5" and half inch tall. That was told to me since I was a teen, and during an appointment for illness late 2010, yet prior to the date of injury(of my bring pushed down twice). Then when I went back to the same primary care physician's office and my height checked by the same person by the same method in January2011for another reason besides the back since I wasn't ready to disclose abuse yet out of mostly fear, plus the fact that the one who hurt me had been mostly nice since (I wasn't aware at the time that it was a part of the cycle of abuse). Anyway, my height in January 2011 was 5'4"! I was shocked, and asked to for the hieght to be repeated to me, because it seemed so unreal. I believe at least part of the symptoms related to my injury is spinal compression. I believe it since over the course of a few years and nearly three years of sleeping in a recliner a lot, my area of pain has went from the tailbone to up a bit, slightly lower than my hips. My last hieght measurement (done November 2014), showed my hieght as 5'3/4". I slowly got thre quarters of an inch in hieght back! Now, to deal with the pain. Maybe by surgery or spinal decompression. Thanks for your time and attention. It's fine if you only answe part(s) of the question in this long typing. Thanks!
