Hello! I've Been Having Problems With My Eyes And Got

Hello! I've been having problems with my eyes and got to a doctor today. He told me that I have giant papillary conjunctivitis, stage 2, and to not wear contacts for 2 months. I asked if I should be putting anything in them, and he said just Refresh Plus, but it seems that (according to the internet) people are often prescribed drops to put in them. I'm really wanting this to clear up soon, I can't imagine being stuck in glasses for months. Should I see another doctor?
