Hello, I've Been Sick For The Past Week Now. It

Hello, I've been sick for the past week now. It first started off with me coughing up mucus, now it's leading into a cough throughout the day / night. I've taken musinex every day 2 times a day, take delysum for my cough at night. But I am still waking up every night coughing. I went to the Doctors Monday, at first she thought it might of been pneumonia, but the x-rays didn't show anything. I'm still coughing no matter what I do. I drink Green tea daily, I barely smoke cigarettes (maybe one a day if that), I've taken multiple hot showers every night, honey & cough drops. I just can't seem to get over this cold..
