Hello I've been to a gynecologist today and she said I have a septate hymen that is too thick to be removed by anyhting except surgery, it makes sex painful and penetration impossible. I want to know abiut the surgery, can it be done by local anesthesia? What are the risks and complications? The precautions? The time of recovery? Because if I have it I'm willing to keep it secret from my parents whom I live with
