Hello, I've Had An Electrical Shock Sensation In My Left

Hello, I've had an electrical shock sensation in my left leg at the very top, in front, for two years since my right shoulder surgery. The sensation has weakened in intensity over time but has never gone away. It hurts when I make certain movements with that leg or try to do setups at the gym. It's a sudden shock for about a second. I'm wondering if the surgeon kicked a nerve. I'd like your opinion and if there is anything like an exercise I can do to stop it or make it less intense. Thanks, Linda YYYY@YYYY
