Hello, Ive Had Stool Stuck In My Anus Yesterday...after Reviewing

Hello, Ive had stool stuck in my anus yesterday...after reviewing steps I used a latex and jently removed the hardened stool. In just a few minutes I had a normal stool pass. Today I had a simular situation but was able to pass the stool naturally without the help of latex gloves. Should I take a stool softener?
