Hello, I've Noticed For About A Week Or So That

Hello, I've noticed for about a week or so that my hands have turned an orange color and smell like I've been handling coins all day. I'm a bit concerned because hands are not supposed to be this color, and I haven't been chowing down on carrots. What could be the cause of this?
