Hello I've Seriously Smacked My Head On The Left Side

Hello I've seriously smacked my head on the left side early this morning. 12 hours later I've had dull pain inside my head on the spot of the smack since then. If there are bumps on the road they irritate me as well. I wonder whether I should get medical help or wait it out. Please advise! Many thanks
