Hello, Just Had 3 Teeth Removed (one Wisdom Lower Left

Hello,

Just had 3 teeth removed (one wisdom lower left 8). I have recently had a dental bridge fitted and am doing the extractions in perpetration for bridges and implants on the left side of my mouth.

Currently 5 days after surgery I have throbbing, stinging pain in the whole left side of my mouth along with the constant spitting out of yellow horrible smelling mucus/pus. I am taking ibuprofen for the pain and rinsing with warm salt water during the day.

Does the pain indicate and smell indicate I have dry socket or an infection? If this is the case would an antibiotic such as amoxicillin and continued use of painkillers be the solution and how long would it take to recover?
