Hello, My 24 Year Old Son Had Me Look At

Hello, My 24 year old son had me look at his throat yesterday. Went to Dr and he does have strep throat. I have now been exposed and I'm leaving the country Tuesday. Should I call my Dr and get a round of antibiotics just in case? I will be at an orphanage in Philippines for 10 days. Thank you. I don't have any symptoms.
