Hello, My 70-year-old mother has been experiencing some gagging symptoms. It started with just meat but now is occurring with softer foods (It was a dessert crepe the other day). She will start gagging on her food and ultimately vomit. I am trying to get her to the doctor but she is scared they will put a scope down her throat. She lives alone and I'm concerned she will choke on her food while alone.
