Hello. My 82 Year Old Mom Frequently Complains About A

Hello. My 82 year old mom frequently complains about a somewhat dull pain on behind right ear extending down the neck. She says when it occurs, she will lie down to nap and when she awakens, the pain has subsided. She is on aspirin regimen, and blood pressure and cholesterol meds. She worries over insignificant things, often with insomnia, this due to dementia diagnosis. Can this be stroke warning?
