Hello: My Daughter Went Swimming At A Friends House. We

Hello:

My daughter went swimming at a friends house. We have been many times this summer. I have noticed that sometimes I feel a slight burning sensation when I have been in the pool- I have asked my daughter and she complains of nothing. Today was very different- she goes to the bathroom and would scream that her pee hurts when it hits her vagina skin. I said okay and as she peed poured luke warm water down with it to cut the acidity in the pee. This seems to relieve her. Well when we came home and i placed her in the shower she screamed so loud and tears streamed down her face saying it burns it burns. When I go her out and looked there are some spots that are raw skin like skin chunks mising and leaves her discolored looking/ The vagina lips are swollen, the bikini area is bumps raised skin and swollen (to the touch almost hard in that area) also it is spread to her but raw, red, raised and broken skin. I am treating now with diaper rash cream and neosporin on the raw skin areas.

I am not sure that I am using the correct things and am considering bringing her to urgent care tomorrow. I will call her pediatrician as well to discuss the situation I just want to be sure I am assisting with the most speedy recovery.

We have spoken to the pool owners and they said they placed chemicals in at 6am and thought it was enough clearance time from when we entered the pool at 11am.
Is this just due to high levels of chlorine? Is the treatment I am using now sufficient?
