Hello! My Dentist Gave Me Clindamycin For An Abscess Before

Hello! My dentist gave me Clindamycin for an abscess before removing a molar (#19). The oral surgeon gave me a prescription for 6 Azithromycin but the insurance only paid for 3 and will not give me the other 3 until next month. I took the three and today I am without. Is it safe to resume taking my Clindamycin? I am unable to get into contact with him today and I am worried that the infection will return.
