Hello! My Husband Has Been Having Ongoing Stomach Pain That

Hello! My husband has been having ongoing stomach pain that comes and goes for awhile now and he's had various tests done so far that have all came back normal so far. We are currently waiting on results of a CT SCAN he had done this past Friday and are supposed to go back to see the doctor this Thursday for him to give us the results. I am very nervous about the results and my question I wanted to know was...would they call us before Thursday if they saw the results were really serious or it was something bad?
