Hello, My Left Wrist Has Been Hurting For The Past

My left wrist has been hurting for the past few days but only when there is pressure applied. I can bend it back as far as it can go and feel no pain but bending it forward however gives me a sharp pain. I recently tried turning the volume down on my phone and pressing the volume buttons with that hand sent an incredible shock of pain into the top of my wrist. This is not the first time I have felt this pain, this began a little over a month and a half ago but it had stopped and felt fine up until a few days ago, where it seemed to begin to happen again. Do you have any idea on what this may be? I am 15 years old and play basketball but don't recall ever doing anything to damage my wrist if that helps you at all.
