Hello. My Mother Has To Wear A Heart Monitor And

Hello.
My mother has to wear a heart monitor and is extremely allergic to the electrode feeds. Her doctor said he recommends a "trick" by putting a steroid on the feeds before applying. My mother is a RN/PhD from the "old school" and overthinks/researches everything to the extreme. She is 80 years old and weighs 90 pounds. She physically, can not handle any more "interruptions" in her daily health regimen. What do you suggest and where can I direct her to read the information herself? Thank you!
