Hello, My Mother (who Is 84) Suffered A TIA Four

Hello,

My mother (who is 84) suffered a TIA four weeks ago, and an Atrial Fibrillaton episode (confirmed by ECG) four days ago. She has just started a daily dose of Warfarin (5mg), but the paramedic that attended her AF episode was told by an on call Doctor (on a phone call) that my Mum should stop taking her Perindopril tablet (2mg at night) that she has been taking since a previous TIA in 2001. It was not explained why she should stop the Perindopril, and I cannot understand the reason why? Her Blood Pressure range is from 120 to 145 over 50 to 75. Thanks for your assistance.
