Hello, My Name Is Dominic And I Have A Prescription

Hello, My name Is Dominic and I have a prescription for Xanax and have taken 1mg dose at 3:30pm. I have an old prescription for Hydrocodone that I save for severe days when I can stand the pain due to arthritis in my backs. (Can’t recall the specific disks) but I’d like to know if it’s safe to take a dose of 10mg Hydrocodone hours after the dose of Xanax. I’m very aware that you are not suppose to combine the 2 as in taking them both at the exact same time. So can I wait a few hours (4-5 hours) to take the dose of pain medication and have nothing to bad happen? Nothing life threatening?
