Hello, My Name Is Karen. I Just Had Rotator Cuff

Hello, My name is Karen. I just had rotator cuff surgery on 5/22/15, which the doctor was hoping to repair through the scope, However, due to the length and complexity of the tear, he had to open my shoulder. Can you give me a time frame when my shoulder will feel normal again. Also in 2013, I had carpel tunnel release surgery on this same arm, which the pain first started in my shoulder. I fell at home approximately 3 months ago and landed on my shoulder, which caused a tremendous amount of pain. The doctor gave me a shot in my arm and recommended therapy. After two months of shots and therapy, the doctor ordered an MRI, which showed the full thickness tear, which led to my surgery. Do you think when I had the carpel tunnel release surgery in 2013, this could have been my first problems of my rotator cuff problems.
