Hello. My Period Is Days Late; Normally This Wouldn't Concern

Hello. My period is days late; normally this wouldn't concern me because its not unusual for it to be off by a day or maybe even two but its been nearly a week. The past couple days I've felt gassy and slightly bloated. I thought I could possibly be pregnant and took a test about 3 days ago but it came out as negative. I was wondering if I should try another one. Normally right before my period I get bad cramps, and I haven't felt anything to indicate that its coming on.
