Hello, My Wife And I Were Rear Ended While Traffic

Hello, My wife and I were rear ended while traffic was stopped on an off ramp. The car that rear ended our car was traveling approximately 45 mph and did not apply their brakes.
We both have head, neck, shoulder and back injuries. My wife's shoulder was dislocated by the seat belt. I was diagnosed with a grade 1-2 concussion. I also developed a umbilical hernia from my lay seat belt. Is the umbilical hernia common and how should it be treated?
