Hello My Wife Is 27 Weeks Pregnant And Recently Diagnosed

Hello

My wife is 27 weeks pregnant and recently diagnosed with Typhoid. We recently came back from India and we live in London.

She was admitted to hospital 5 days ago and is on antibiotics. But her cough is getting worse everyday and this has caused acute pain in her abdomen and chest. Kindly advise which can help her.
Doctors are just giving her Simple Lingtus to sooth cough but that's not helping.
