Hello, Not Sure How To Ask. Could I Be Pregnant?

Hello,
Not sure how to ask. Could I be pregnant?
Or could there be something that has happened?
I have had some symptoms of pregnancy.
Took an at home test come up negative.
Then 3 days before my period was due was in a lot of pain and had heavy bleeding for 1 day then it stopped.
I am now 5 days late from my normal cycle.
This was the first time me any my husband have tried for a baby.
