Hello, Thank you for your time.
Something's going on with me, please let me know if it sounds like herpes.
I received unprotected oral sex almost 3 months ago.
About four days later, I developed a single sore with an off white head of puss in my pubic region, several inches above my penis.
It may have been an ingrown hair, I'm not sure.
A clinic took a culture of it and it came back negative for herpes.
It healed within a week or two.
The following week, I felt a lot of tingling and burning in my face, especially in my mustache area. But I never had a breakout on my lips or face.
I since have had more acne in that area than usual.
I have had intermittent sharp tingling on both sides of my pubic area every week since.
It seems to increase the day following a night of drinking alcohol. But no breakouts.
I've had a couple of small red dots on my inner thigh and pubic hair since on and off.
However, I have gotten those in the past, from running and dry skin.
Blood test was done around 4 weeks after potential exposure.
Negative for herpes.
Now my frenulum is red and puffy with two white symmetrical dots on each side.
I've been under a lot of stress at home and at work.
Could this be psychosomatic? Could this be herpes? Thank you again.
