Hello There, In The Last Two Weeks I Have Noticed

Hello There, In the last two weeks i have noticed a complete change in my 4 year olds speech motoring skills he has never had a stutter, though he did repeat his words in threes, but now he cannot get the words out of his mouth with a flow blown stutter attack his eyes roll backwards and he blinks excessively.. he has become exhausted and im getting worried. He does have an appointment with a speech therapist, though is this something i should have brought in to doctors right away?
