Hello! Well, Recently I Had A Regular Cold, And Now

Hello! Well, recently I had a regular cold, and now I am no longer feeling stuffy or feeling any symptoms of a cold, but my left ear has been bothering me by sometimes popping and it's just making me feel weird. I was thinking that I might have an ear infection, but I'm not sure and I don't really want to spend the money on going to the doctor's office just to receive feedback telling me that I'm fine.
