Hello. Yesterday I Was Splashed In The Face With Hot

Hello. Yesterday I was splashed in the face with hot oil, and during the night I must have hit my face or rubbed on one of the burns. When I woke up this morning, a clear liquid was coming out slightly. I wiped it off and underneath was a slightly yellow and flakey surface. Is this normal and is there anything I could do to try and reduce scaring?
