Hello A Friend Of Mine Has Hepatosplenomegaly. He Did Blood

Hello a friend of mine has hepatosplenomegaly. He did blood smear and blood test everything is good except that he has mild hyperlipidemia, he has few pounds overweight, could it be from the hyperlipidemia? Or should i worry about a genetic disease since his father had liver problems and died of brain cancer?
