Hello and help
I recently moved from Hartford Connectcut to Niantic Connecticut and have been treated for severe xanxiety for 25 years now. My current dosage information is 6 mg of alprazolam/day and 600 mg od Gabapentine 4 times daily. My previous Physciatirst had to abruptly retire, not leaving me time to seek a referral to a new associate closer o my ne home in Niantic CT. I realize that each doctor will make his own diagnoses however I am TERRIFIED of the change and looking for someone that will at least keep me at the same dosage for at least the beginning while he makes his own diagnoses,, I am not finding much luck online on how to select a Phsyciatrist since my initial dr was referred to me by the hospital after my 3rd visit swearing I was having heart attacks. Could you please provide me any suggestion that would help me find someone that won't abruptly change my dosage or possibly even know of a local contact to discuss with if you can not. I am currently employed at IBM and with times the way they are I simply cannot afford to have and sudden changes in behavior or miss any time at work for any reason.. I currently manage 95 employees in the Northeast part of the uS so it can be a very highly stress full job.. Please help!!
