Hello, And Thank You. I Am A 51 Year Old

Hello, and thank you. I am a 51 year old runner. I restarted this activity very successfully after several years of struggling with hernia discomfort. For several months it went great, feeling better than I have in years. Five or six miles several times a week was getting easy. I sprinted with my soccer team(I coach) a couple of times. The next run (I felt amazing). But it resulted in gradually increasing lower calf pain after a few miles. I know better than to mess with pain, so I walked home. I rested a week and tried again, and quit after a 1/4 mile. I then rested two weeks and tried just a brief trial, and new immediately that it would cause trouble. Now after another two weeks of rest I walked a quarter mile and have pain again. I suspect the Achilles tendon, because it also causes slight discomfort in my heal.
