Hello Doc, Last November My OB Did An Ultrasound And

Hello doc, last november my OB did an ultrasound and she found out that there is a 6cm cyst in my left ovary,she told me that she will give me pills on my next visit to control the growth of the cyst.My question would be is it safe for me to just take pills or totally undergo an operation? Is a laser procedure might be a good option for this? How many weeks for me to recover? Please reply thanks.
