Hello doctor .I have been diagnosed, a year ago, with Systemic Lupus and as a result of it I have Pericarditis and Rheumatoid arthritis .My Pericarditis shows only a small amount of fluid around the heart that remains after a 6 month treatment with Cortisone . I am planning in travelling to high Altitude Areas ,starting at 1000m and reaching over 3000 m ( by car ) .Is it safe for me with the small amount of fluid around my heart ?
