Hello Doctor. I Have Been Through A Lot Of Stress
Hello doctor.
I have been through a lot of stress in the last three to six months with my father being unwell because of myeloma. He had to go through a lot of suffering in the ICU and passed away a month ago. Very attached to my father. Have gone through all these and the trauma.
I saw a swelling in my neck area couple of weeks ago. Got a series of tests done with thyroid being abnormal. I have been suggested betacaps 40mg twice daily for a month before going for further tests.
Doctor suggested if I can get a Scan of my neck. Radioactive iodine scan. OR take betacaps medicine for a month and go for a regular thyroid check up to determine if it is hashimotos or Graves' disease. What should I do ?!
